This year I donated $59,457 to GiveDirectly - thanks to the many travelers who use my site to book hotels. I’m hoping for more travel - and more giving - in 2022, though I think I said the same thing last year around this time :)
The hotel map is great. Look forward to using it to book accommodation for Athens where I haven’t visited for years.
Love your content - thank you! I am heading to Santorini for 3 days at the end of October and am starting to feel anxious. I booked a really cool JR suite with a heated pool at the Dana Villas and Suite one night a little impulsively. It is beautiful, but I am traveling with my teen/adult children (boy 17 and girl 20 y/o). I think at the time I booked it I thought it was the best for us, great view, cave room with a pool, everyone has a bed, but in a quieter area than OIA or FIRA. But is it too much of a couples-only area? And the weather is cool but we definitely want to take a boat/catamaran or something to swim and explore. How can I make this trip work best for my family? Any ideas or recos?
